  17. I have reread your description and my responses (beginning on the next line)
  18. and am not sure that I fully understand your problem.  However, I am leaving
  19. my remarks in as they might help.

  21. yes, this is a problem with the author's default resolution selection of 1024
  22. X 1024 - even though the A2410 ships with crystals for 800 X 600 and 1024 X
  23. 768. (you reading this Juergen?).

  34. What I had to do *carefully, timing is everything* was... (going from memory
  35. here (only 75%)) set the Width and Height correctly in A2410Config *before
  36. you try and use edit*. I am assuming that you are using version 2 of
  37. Juergen's driver.

  39. I believe that it was *not* a good idea to use MUI as a interface for
  40. A2410Config (although MUI is a good product).  There are many things that can
  41. go wrong during the configuration of *any* graphics card on the Amiga System -
  42. it is important to minimize the complexity of this operation - MUI is just
  43. another thing which could go wrong.

  45. IMHO *all* system configuration tools sould run as close to native Amiga OS as
  46. posible.

  48. Get your system back to basics -  *warning* the following procedure *will
  49. change* the way your video works, you will need standard Amiga display
  50. hardware.

  52. delete out      env<-archive>:egs/A2410regs.prefs
  53.                 env<-archive>:egs/screenmode.prefs.
  54. reboot with EGS support
  55. startup A2410Config and change the resolution values for Clock 1 and Clock 2
  56. (if necessary) and *save*.
  57. reboot again with EGS support... you get the idea.
